The whole policy, in a paragraph
We're Momentum Coaching (Mahamed Majhoule, ABN 46 114 503 656), an online and in-person coaching business based in Australia, working with clients worldwide. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. In short: we collect the details you give us when you enquire or book a free consult — your name, email and phone number — we use them to arrange your consult and, with your consent, to send you coaching tips and offers, and we rely on a small number of trusted providers (our booking/CRM system and our website host, both US-based) to do that. We don't take payments through this website, we don't run advertising or analytics tracking, and we don't sell your information. You can contact us any time at info@momentumcoaching.au to access, correct or delete your details.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Mahamed Majhoule trading as Momentum Coaching (ABN 46 114 503 656) — referred to here as “we”, “us” and “our”. We provide online and in-person fitness and nutrition coaching to clients in Australia and around the world. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information responsibly and in line with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you complete a form, request a booking, or contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to tell us about your goals.
We don't ask for sensitive information— such as health details, financial account numbers, or government identifiers — through this website, and you shouldn't submit it in free-text fields.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit our website, our hosting provider records standard technical data — such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit — in server logs, to run and secure the site. At launch we do not use analytics or advertising cookies or trackers (see section 7).
Meetings. If you book a call with us, we may record, transcribe, or take notes of the meeting using AI tools to help us follow up and deliver our services.
3. How and why we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and tell you about our coaching;
- arrange and run your consult and coaching sessions;
- deliver, manage and improve our coaching services;
- send you coaching tips, updates and offers where you've consented or are an existing client (you can opt out at any time — see section 5);
- operate and secure our website; and
- meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
4. Who we share it with, and where
We don't sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us run our business, including providers of:
- website hosting and infrastructure;
- our booking, customer-relationship-management (CRM) and messaging system, which stores your contact details and sends our emails and SMS; and
- AI services that help us respond to enquiries and deliver our work.
These providers only handle your information to provide their services to us.
Some of our AI processing happens on infrastructure we control here in Australia; some is provided by overseas AI services, mainly in the United States. AI does not make decisions about you on our behalf.
Overseas. Some of our service providers are located overseas — primarily in the United States (our CRM/booking system and our website host). Where we use overseas providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely and under appropriate agreements.
5. Marketing
If you've enquired with us or are an existing client, we may send you marketing by email or SMS — coaching tips, updates and offers. Every marketing message identifies us and includes a way to opt out (an unsubscribe link, or reply STOP to SMS) — you can opt out at any time and we'll stop. We don't send marketing to people who haven't consented or don't have an existing relationship with us.
6. Payments
The initial consult is free, and we don't collect or store payment details through this website. If we introduce paid services in future, payments will be handled by a dedicated payment processor under its own terms and security standards, and we'll update this policy first.
7. Cookies and tracking
At launch, our website uses only the essential cookies needed to make it work and keep it secure. We do notuse third-party analytics or advertising cookies or trackers. If we add analytics or advertising in future, we'll update this section to explain what we use and how you can opt out.
8. How we store, secure and keep your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including using reputable service providers and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your information.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it:
- Enquiries that don't become clients: up to 24 months from last contact.
- Client records: while you're a client and for as long as required afterwards to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations (generally up to 7 years).
When we no longer need your information, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — just email info@momentumcoaching.auand we'll help. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information and we can't resolve it together, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its date are shown at the top of this page. For any questions or requests:
